Maria Fomicheva
Opera director
Graduate of the Russian Institute of Theater Arts - GITIS, workshop of G. Isaakyan in two professions:
“Opera singer” (2017) and “Opera Director” (2022).
Maria was participant of workshop "Method of Theodoros Terzopoulos" at the Attis Theatre (Athens). Since 2017, she has been a director at the Moscow State Opera and Ballet Theatre for young audience named after Natalia Sats. Maria Fomicheva had opera productions in musical and opera theatres of Russia, such as: Bolshoi Theatre, Rostov Musical Theatre, Volga-Opera Theatre, etc. She is a winner of the international competition for young opera directors “Nano-Opera” (2022).
